Harm tossed her hair when they were outside, her pointed ears revealed. She looked at him, almost in warning, but didn't say anything. She knew that either side would need her pendant, and she was the only one who could use it, so she followed.

Jir noticed the ears."So your a elf.We have a thew elves in the reblion.You would be surprised at who wants the king dead."Jir walked down a block,then turned into a alleyway.He walked up to end of the wall.He stopped and made sure Harm was still following,and that no one else was there."You ready?"

"Not an elf, but I'm not quite inclined to say what I am, excactly." Harm shrugged. "Sure, why not?" She shook her hair a bit, letting her ears become covered again.

Jir let his magical disguise shimmer out,and Jirs true,freakishly tall form was shown."I reckomend you prepare yourself.He takes out a brick in the wall,then puts his hand in the hole in the wall.He began chanting and a large rune appeared on the ground."You sure your ready?"THe magic was swimming around them.

"Do I look like a damsel in distress?" Harm asked, slightly snappy. She releshed slightly in the magic, not showing her love for it.

Harm lurched a bit, but then stood straight. "Okay, never ask me if I'm ready, because I was not ready for that." She said, walking to him.

"Ok then.Follow me."He walked throught the door into hallway."Your lucky,everyone is out,except for a thew people."THe lines were lined with art,weopons,this and that,so many things you could barley see the walls.The hallway was wide with many door ways."You hungry?"

"No serums in anything?" Harm asked, cocking her head to the side mockingly. Her eyes shown with amusment, but that was the only indication.

John leaned nonchalantly against the doorframe, a questioning eyebrow raised. "You're like a newcomer magnet, Jir. I don't think it's wise to keep bringing more and more people in." He shook his light brown hair from his suddenly serious and equally brown eyes, watching Harm and Jir carefully. He was taller than most of the other men: around 6' 2". He wore a ragged black leather tunic and black leggings and boots. His clothes announced that his condition in life was rather low, but it looked as if he didn't care much.
He had come to the small but growing group of rebels in desperation. He was half-dead when he crawled into their headquarters. The leader took him in and cared for him. From then on he was their best spy, working with some of the king's closest friends. He was proud of his title and bore it like a shining medal.
